Living together can be stressful and knowing how other people operate means that you can resolve conflicts before they grow too large. Effective communication plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy relationship with roommates. Secondly, people tend to be more open and friendly after smooth communication. Maybe you are anxious and concerned about living with another person. Your roommates may be experiencing the same issues and concerns and may be under the same pressures. Talking to each other about the things that may affect your relationship as roommates is a sign of being open and friendly, making it easier to have a good relationship with dormmates.
